Most of us
are like camels; we carry emotional baggage on our psychological backs. Only when we rid the
emotional baggage from our subconscious, we can finally heal and go on with our lives in a
positive and meaningful fashion.
Often, when something goes wrong in your life like a divorce or an untimely death in the
family, people may tell you to just "Let it go" or "Time will heal everything."
These messages rarely convey the comfort that is intended of them, and
we continue to be distraught by our pain. Although these are rational recommendations to
help us ease our pain, they are ineffective because the sufferer tends to respond with his
subconscious. Only when the subconscious accepts the loss or hurt, will one be able to
influence his behavior and begin to heal.
One way to start the healing is to use Graphotherapy, a methodology based on the theory
that handwriting is affected by the subconscious aspect of the brain. The subconscious is
affected by the life experiences of each individual person. The content of the writing
(e.g., words and message) represents your conscious thoughts while the form of your writing
(e.g., shape of letters, location within the page) is a reflection of your subconscious.
Since no two people have the same subconscious, no two handwritings are exactly alike,
like fingerprints.
Traditional psychotherapy takes a long time to be effective. One of the reasons
is that initially people tend to reveal only a portion of their problems. A patient
is like an iceberg, showing a small portion of their issues initially, just like an iceberg
shows only a small portion of its mass above water. Only after a long time in therapy does
the person reveal his or her deepest and subconscious fears and issues. Handwriting
analysis allows a graphologist to clearly and immediately appreciate the person's subconscious
issues.
The purpose of this book is to give you positive tools to change your behavior using
graphology methods. This book is different from other how-to-books in that it uses a
comprehensive approach to help you mentally, physically
and emotionally through writing exercises. First, mentally you decide which parts of your behavior you want to change. The
writing exercises you will choose will depend on this decision. Second, you must physically
write the recommended exercise in the
prescribed manner for 21 consecutive days, which is the length of time it takes to
change a specific mode of behavior. And emotionally, you commit yourself to take responsibility
for the exercises and the change.
